“sometimes you have to be above the law” to a stunned

the function of congress is to declare war and control the purse strings, yet the first has been usurped by the presidency – not one war since WWII has been OFFICIALLY DECLARED - and the second has become ensnarled in red tape. presidents, bush being only the most blatant example, get around laws by appointing people that will not enforce them. witness the mockery that the Environmental Protection Agency has become. it was obvious to the world that the presidential election of bush jr. was stolen, with the connivance of the supreme court. the supreme court, through the appointment of arch conservatives and sleazy incompetents - again, clarence tomas - works for the president. bush invokes “executive privilege” to deny both the citizenry and congress even plain KNOWLEDGE of the cronyism with the energy industry that produced his energy policy almost immediately after election, even though some of the major companies involved later collapsed from flagrant book keeping lies. major factions of wall street were just convicted of massive fraud, and fined billions of dollars, yet even so industry leaders make public statements that they have done nothing wrong. laws and even science have been manipulated so that now, despite concrete proof and blatant absurdity, restrictions on toxic chemicals, such as brain damaging lead and cancer causing arsenic, have been greatly relaxed. a lawsuit brought by the ENTIRETY OF NEW ENGLAND STATE GOVERNMENTS against industries in the midwest for causing acid rain has been voided. under the guise of “fire management” vast areas of national forests are being opened to logging. while under the guise of “energy independence”, and with total disregard for disruption of ecologies, vast areas of national parks and trusts are being opened to the oil industry. does anyone believe isolated plants will be the end of encroachment?

long before these recent policies it was common
practice to hide the devastation caused by logging and mining by strip
planting, especially along highways. if people see what looks like
a forest they won’t complain about the wasteland a quarter of a
mile beyond.

Merril Lynch alone has a legal staff larger than the entire enforcement division of the SEC.
in this jolly atmosphere of friendly mega-wealth, laws were soon passed that required LESS reporting, and LESS STRINGENT OVERSIGHT. the old laws were EXPLICITLY viewed as: “UNFAIR TO COMPETITION” and “INHIBITING ECONOMIC GROWTH.”
these buzz words ALWAYS WORK with the gullible public. “everything is fine.
even more unbelievably, there
was even a new “double-speak” buzz word used to justify this action.
the old villainous sounding “double-booking” – in other words GO BACK TO SLEEP.” LYING

was replaced with the now acceptable expression “AGGRESSIVE ACCOUNTING.” president bush
SUCCESSFULLY FOUGHT OFF CONGRESS when it wanted to know SIMPLY WHO WAS INVOLVED IN HIS ECONOMIC POLICY, directly contradicting the CONSTITUTION of the united states. THE COUNTRY WAS BROUGHT TO NEAR COLLAPSE.

that war and
repression are not the only way to subjugate a people. cultural

a fight and in the chain of profit everybody gets a cut, but
isn’t a bean just a bean??? live simply. what do you need? plant
seeds and help them grow, stay warm and out of the rain, weave cloth,
learn medicine, go for a long walk, learn everything about making
babies so its safe, fall in love with your mind. there are many
examples throughout history of communities living in harmony. almost
all were crushed by outside forces. what would the world be like if all

small acts become large. in war and all competitive systems, as has
been said repeatedly in the world’s literature, “we are

"melting pot," the idea that all cultures are welcome, yet it is

"yuppies" are skinny and pale, while their working class brothers are fat and pale, both with clothes that are well made but have no
personal style and lifestyles totally
defined by media
and are eerily disaffected. when gray haired they still look like
children, physically unformed and way too innocent. the smallest
children learn before they can
walk to "look away" from people, something not seen in poorer, less
"modern" neighborhoods. more recent immigrants seeking to fit in adopt
this ready made "no style style." is there any more telling fact
than a young white couple walking down the street, so proud of their
new baby, TOTALLY oblivious to the of the STONE COLD HATEolder black man
right next to them in threadbare clothes going to, if he is lucky, a
minimum
wage job. these are the same people who actually believe the ridiculous
smiles and puerile banter of glossy magazines and television, who can
actually say with a straight face,
it is not only
the degradation by bullies that society allows,
which no one will admit is so devastating,
but all of twisted society that surrounds them,
that
they can sense but not explain.
